The Lab is a interdisciplinary effort involving faculty from the departments of Instructional Technology and English. The mission of this group is centered on researching effective teaching and learning strategies--grounded in cognitive studies--using advanced visualization technologies. Current research efforts of the CLE group include educational gaming environments, data visualization theory and practice, interactive immersive learning environments, and instructional simulations.
